Labour market

Collective wage agreements are agreements between unions and employers and/or their associations dealing with the wages and wage terms of wage earners.

According to legislation on the equal position and equal rights of men and women, any form of gender discrimination in the workplace is prohibited.

The labour market is comprised of employers and employees, who enter into employment and receive a salary for their work. The rules of conduct in the labour market are established in acts of law and collective wage agreements that provide for the mutual obligations of employers and employees.
